Work Placement
As part of this qualification, learners are required to complete a work placement in a school or educational setting. This provides valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply your learning in real-life situations.
Learners will work alongside qualified teachers and support staff, developing professional relationships and demonstrating competence in areas such as:

Progression Opportunities

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have a genuine interest in supporting children and young people’s learning and wellbeing. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable; however, support is available to help you achieve these alongside your qualification if needed.
Duration
Typically 12–18 months, depending on your chosen route and experience.
Funding
This qualification is fundable through the Advanced Learner Loan for adult learners and available as an Apprenticeship for employed learners.
